Azerbaijan Future Studies participates in TIBO-2013 ICT Exhibition

On 23-26 April, 2013 -The 20th International Specialized Exibition and Congress on Telecommunications, Information and Banking Technologies TIBO 2013 and besides, the second Belarusian-Azerbaijani ICT Forum were held in Minsk, Belarus.

Azerbaijan delegation represented by Minister of Communication and Information Technologies Ali Abbasov on the 20th International Specialized Exhibition and Congress on Telecommunications, Information and Banking Technologies TIBO 2013 and in the second Belarusian-Azerbaijani ICT Forum which took place in Minsk, Belarus. The delegation were accompanied with about 60 representatives from public, private and non-governmental organization.

Opening speech delivered by the Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Anatoly Kalinin, Minister of Communications and Informatization Nikolai Pantelei, Minister of Communications and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan Ali Abbasov and other officials delivered speeches at the event.

The main aim of TIBO 2013, organized by the Ministry of Communications and Information of the Republic of Belarus, is to encourage the effective use of information and communication technologies for the socio-economic development of this country.

The Forum was attended by 60 representatives from public, private and non-governmental organization from Azerbaijan, including Reyhan Huseynova, President of Azerbaijan Futures Studies Society – Azerbaijan Node of The Millennium Project.

Presentation at the forum given by Reyhan Huseynova was about “Some interaction aspects of Foresight and Information Technologies”. Reyhan Huseynova had speech about the society activity, also its progress and perspectives were mentioned at that seminar.
