On June 1-5, 2013  The Annual Millennium Project Committee Meeting,UNESCO Foresight Program with Riel Millerannual meeting and Baku Futures Forum were held in Baku, Azerbaijan.

In the frame work of meeting there took part the director of the Millennium Project Jerome Glenn and the Nodes of Azerbaijan, Canada, Mexico, Venezuela, Central Europe, Finland, Germany, Great Britain, Iran,Poland, Russia, Kenya,Spain, China, Korea, Egypt, Uruguay,Montenegro,Israel,Brazil, South Africa, Slovenia, Belgium, Silicon Valley and also Cyber Node. During 2 days sessions there were review of previous works and the reports of Nodes participated at the meeting.  

Alongside with the annual meeting on June 1,2013 there was organized UNESCO Foresight Program with Riel Miller to scope out futures communities of practice and methods. This is not connected to the other previous Intercultural Dialogue conference on May 29- June 1, but was held in cooperation with Azerbaijan Future Studies Society and the Millennium Project. Both events  were hosted by Azerbaijan State Economic University.

On June 3,2013 Baku Futures Forum was arranged, there took part more than hundred government officials, policymakers, academics, industry leaders  inBaku, Azerbaijan.

The Chairperson of  Azerbaijan Future Studies Society and MP Node Reyhan Huseynova presented Azerbaijan at that meeting. Ms. Huseynova mentioned the recent activities of society “The First International Baku Futures Forum - on Next Big Things for the Future of Azerbaijan: Post-oil Economy”, then the activities such as the Summer Camp for IDP children of Azerbaijan, the online annual course of AzForesight forstudents and many other activities,  issueswere discussed during the meeting.
