Movlan Pashayev
Movlan Pashayev is the Managing Partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers Azerbaijan. He holds a law degree from the Baku State University. Since joining PwC in 1996, he has provided consulting and advisory services in many areas of doing business, including liaison with Administrations and others. His knowledge of the regional markets and legislation brings over an extensive expertise in resolving complex issues foreign investors encounter in Azerbaijan and wider Caspian region. Movlan has long been involved in supporting the Government in modernizing and reforming the investment climate and dirving reforms. In particular, he has been involved in the Azerbaijan 2020 Vision program.Movlan is on the boards of several NGOs and business communities. Movlan is a professor of Taxation and Business Law of the Law School of the Baku State University. Movlan is a regular speaker at various local and international conferences and seminars and an author of a number of articles and chapters in several specialized authoritative books and publications. In particular, his recent researches have been focused on the ethics inb business and law and also the outlook for global business developments.
