Aydin Huseynov

Dr. Aydin Huseynov is head of ICT and innovations economics division of Research Institute for Economic Studies under Azerbaijan State University of Economics. His current interest is related with research on National Innovation System, sector reviews, innovation surveys in ICT, energy and service sectors of economy, knowledge evaluation. He is involved in EU projects as expert/monitor on regional technical assistance and national twinning projects financed by EC in sectors including energy, transport, and environment, and has participated in various educational programs, visiting Iran, Turkey and Germany. His research also includes several applied fields related to hydrogen energy, fuel cells and meta-stability of liquids (modeling and numerical analysis). He is actively involved in The Millennium Project, and was instrumental in the computation of the first Azerbaijan State of the Future Index, in 2011.
