Farhad Mammadov

Farhad Mammadov is Director of the Center for Strategic Researches of the Political Analyses and Information Department of the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan. He has been the founder and executive director of the "National Strategic Initiative Center” NGO, where he organized debates between the political structures, created web resource dedicated to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, and has participated in television debates on current issues in the political life of Azerbaijan; and is one of the 6 co-founders of "IRELİ" public union. His previous positions include: advisor to the ministry of Youth and Tourism; researcher at the consulting group "Impulse"; and external relations manager of "Caspian-3" LLC. He published 20 scientific publications and about 130 articles, and is the co-author of "Political parties in Azerbaijan: from election to election", published in English and Azeri. In 2011 he received the academic degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Philosophy by the Supreme Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. His PhD thesis was on "Moral ethics of globalization and their understanding in Azerbaijan philosophical ethics”.
