Khagani S. Abdullayev

Dr. Khagani Sarkhan Abdullayev is Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, with his highly significant atributions including monetary policy formulation and analysis; macroeconomic analysis and policy assessment; financial stability analysis; economic research and resource center development; and strategic planning and corporate standards. He has been working at the Central Bank of Azerbaijan since 1997. Dr. Abdullayev is also teaching at the Azerbaijan State Economic University, Faculty of International Economics. He was awarded the Medal for Progress, by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev. Dr. Abdullayev has a PhD from the Azerbaijan State Economic University, and participated in the FSA Contemporary Issues Fellowship, and Fulbright Scholarship programs, in the USA.
