Reyhan Huseynova
Prof. Dr. Reyhan Huseynova is founder and chair of the Azerbaijan Future Studies Society, and professor at Western University, Baku, Azerbaijan, where she has also held positions of Vice-Rector, and Dean of Western Studies and Western Languages, Political Science Faculty. She organizes and participates in various international projects, trainings, and conferences, building networks between Azerbaijani and researchers around the world. Prof. Huseynova initiated and manages a large variety of activities, including the online course “Azerbaijan Foresight”, at the Azerbaijan State Economic University; computation of the first Azerbaijan State of the Future Index; the annual national youth contest on the Global Challenges facing Humanity; and joint projects with different international organizations such as UNFPA, the Open Society Institute, and The Millennium Project. She is the author of numerous publications, including “Problems of Azerbaijan culture in the transition period”, and various educational programs, and is member and executive of various international organizations, including Vice-President of Azerbaijan-France Friendship Society, and Co-Chair of the Millennium Project Node in Azerbaijan.
